Just received my new inflatable mattress, the Quechua Air Comfort 120 by Decathlon. This particular model in my case is going to be used as a spare inflatable mattress when guests are staying overnight and there aren’t enough spare beds. It will also be used when I go camping as it is relatively light (3.5kg) and doesn’t take too much room.
Inflated, the Air Comfort 120 measures 120 x 190 x 11cm. It is not the biggest in the range (there is a 140cm wide at £29.99), nor the smallest (70cm single bed at £19.99) but again, this mattress suits me most within the house and tent.
The airbed was received quickly and well packaged as you can see in the pictures below. The box isn’t massive (7.5L volume) which is a good thing for transport and storage.
The box says it takes 1min 10s to inflate. I did the test in around 4min BUT it took a bit longer because of the various photos taken for the review and mainly because I didn’t use the recommended pump. Instead I used my very old one as you can see in the animation below.
This inflatable mattress is compact and very comfortable. The flock surface feels soft and pleasant to lie on.
So far I can say the Quechua Air Comfort 120 is decently priced and is small and light for transport and storage. It took me a bit longer than the time advertised to inflate but I wasn’t using the recommended pump. Once fully inflated, it feels robust and soft. The 120 is perfect for my need, can fit 2 guests in a narrow space or give myself plenty of space in the tent. Overall this is a good product at a very decent price.
